We Love Growing For Schools & Universities!

We absolutely love working with schools. There are over 5000 Tower Gardens in schools throughout the United States. The Vertical Garden is an absolutely phenomenal learning tool! Students can watch their edible plants including leafy greens, herbs, vegetables, and even strawberries and watermelon grow from seed to harvest right before their eyes and make a very special and rewarding connection to their food!

Students can learn about the life cycle of plants and there is award winning curriculum that cover all the STEM subjects that can be used with the gardens!

We grow with schools all over the world including USC, UCLA, Caltech, Pierce College, UC Irvine, UCSD, San Diego State University, Stanford University, Texas A & M, Yale University, Brown University, University of Wisconsin, University of Michigan, University of Florida, University of Georgia, Auburn University and Beykoz University in Istanbul, Turkey.

The USC Teaching Garden with 60 of our Vertical Gardens growing 2640 edible plants for their students, faculty, and staff to enjoy in their campus dining halls won an Innovation Award for the use of our vertical gardens! Inspiring and educating future world leaders about the joy and benefits of growing your own food, sustainability and climate change is the heart and soul of LA Urban Farms.
